伞形齿轮传动主要有如下特点
1、伞形齿轮传动是一种环保，节能的传动方式、相对于传统的斜齿轮，齿间摩擦更少齿轮使用寿命更长，传动效率较高，因而在使用过程中可以采用轻润滑 (如: 油脂润滑) ,避免漏油问题。
2、同样是因为伞齿轮传动效率较高，相对传统斜齿轮节能15%~20%;
3、伞齿轮大小齿轮在传动时是水平方向，相对于传统的斜齿轮垂直方向会节省高度方向的尺寸，多层窑炉的层距能做得更小，能进一步减少窑炉的能耗损失，进一步降低能耗
4、该产品经中国建筑卫生陶瓷协会、福建省陶瓷行业协会与佛山市陶瓷学会共同鉴定总体技术达到国内先进水平
